DAY NUMBER 15: Choice for Success – Time
Choose an optimal timeframe where you can concentrate without distractions.
“I want you to commit to what time every day you are going to devote to your plan of action,” Yalden said. “Is it 5 a.m. when everyone is sleeping? Is it noon during lunch? Is it 9 p.m. when everyone goes to bed? Don’t tell me, ‘Jeff – I don’t have time.’ If it is important to you, you will make the time.
I know you might not like my answer – but it’s reality, my friends.”
Determine the optimal time to work on your plan now – and stick to that time every day.
DAY NUMBER 16: Routine for Greatness
Getting it done is better than getting it perfect.
“Get it done by going all-in, and as you get it done, perfection will happen. Time to execute – again!”
DAY NUMBER 17: Have a Sense of Urgency.
There is no tomorrow. If you say tomorrow, that means you are not committed.
“I want you to commit today! You have to get this done, and get it done within a time frame. Commit to your time frame and to your routine for greatness.”
DAY NUMBER 18: Look in the Mirror
“This is kind of like you are going back to day number one. Look in the mirror. You are going to make a change. My friends, nothing changes if nothing changes.”
Accountability check: Take personal responsibility now. Where can you change? What are the little things you see in the mirror that need your immediate attention? Own it.
DAY NUMBER 19: Success Is in the Willingness to Change.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. Are you willing to make a change in your life?
“Your success is in identifying the change and making those adjustments. Now it is time for you to separate from some of the negative influences that are in your life. It’s time for you to separate from some of those people aren’t committed to being that 3 percent.”
Time for you to make a change.
DAY NUMBER 20: Be Coachable. Embrace learning. Embrace growth.
Every day is a chance to learn something new. There is something new to learn in every situation.
Success is in the lessons that happen around you. Growth mindset: Be coachable.
“What is your environment? Is your environment supporting your change and growth? Are you learning in your environment? Do you need to change your environment? Sometimes we need to do that.”
Day Number 21: Self-Assessment
Improve every day from the inside out.
“You must embrace growing and should be able to evaluate yourself daily. Let’s start by being honest with ourselves.”
