The OFFICIAL SITE to Americas #1 Youth Motivational Speaker!

Amazon bestselling author Jeff Yalden realizes that the content in his new workbook, The BOOM 28 Day Boot Camp: Creating a Life of Success. Find Motivation. Crush Goals. Overcome Obstacles. Live with Purpose, is not for everybody.

But if you want to make daily and measurable changes on your way to a life of success, this is the place to be.

Yesterday, you made the decision to own your life by committing to your readiness to change one thing that needs work. You got it into your head that yesterday was the day to decide to make that change. You made a list of ten items you wanted to work on, pared it down to three and, finally, whittled it down to one thing. Just one thing.

“I want this to be simple, attainable and something that you can do, and I want you to understand that this is not immediate” said Yalden. “Changing your life and going after something that is epically awesome just doesn’t happen overnight. I always say that overnight success takes 15 to 20 years.”

Are you willing to do the little things other people aren’t willing to do? Are you willing to show up early and stay late? Are you willing to take out the trash even though it’s not in your job description? Are you willing to pay attention every single day to this 28-Day Boot Camp?

You can find the workbook on Amazon, and it’s the perfect companion to his bestseller, BOOM! One Word to Inspire Action, Deliver Rewards, and Positively Affect Your Life Every Day, but Jeff is giving away the principles for free – right here.

But only you can put in the work.

“This is about yourself,” Yalden said. “This is not about your job. This is not about your family. This is not about your responsibilities and obligations – this is not about your rights and privileges. This is all about self-care, my friends – and self-care is not selfish. Self-care is important for you to accomplish the things that you want to accomplish in life.”

If you did the homework and identified the one most important thing you would like to accomplish or overcome in your life, then you are ready for Day Number Two.

The following is excerpted from episode 15 of The BOOM Podcast – and Jeff takes it from here:

DAY NUMBER TWO: WRITE IT DOWN

What is that one thing?

Take that dream out of your head and put it on paper.

Do it now.

I want you to take pen to paper, and I want you to take everything that’s loaded up in your head. Throw it all on paper. Write it down in a notebook or on a big poster board. At the top, write, “The Dream I Want to Accomplish.” Take everything about that dream – everything that is in hour head – and write it all out.

It doesn’t have to make sense right now. I just want you to use that as a dumping ground. Dump it all on that paper. Everything. No boundaries. I don’t even want you to be specific with it yet. I just want you to write out that one thing. What do you want to accomplish?

Ask yourself questions and reiterate why you are going all-in.

Do you want to lose weight? Maybe you are getting married and this is really important to you. Write it down.

Why do you want to lose weight? Do you want to lose 10 pounds over a month or three pounds in two months? Do you want to lost weight for your husband or wife – or for the wedding day?

You might rightly say, “I want to do it for myself.”

For 10 or 15 minutes, I just want you to sit there with pen and paper – and this is for you. It’s for nobody else. I just want you to write it out. Let it be sloppy. You want to underline or circle? Then underline and circle.  Underline. Circle. Make it ugly. Make it stupid ugly. But I want you to start getting inspired about this. I want you to reiterate why you want to make a change.

Do you want to get more of an education? Do you want to be more present and engaged with your family or more present and engaged with your coworkers? Are you having trouble? Are you bitter or angry? Do you want to learn how to forgive? Are you having trouble identifying it?

I need you do get deep with yourself.

I need you to look in the mirror – and I have said it before: If you don’t like the reflection in the mirror –don’t blame it on the mirror, my friends.

If you are going to be honest with yourself – I think the first place you need to go is to the mirror.

You need to get real. If there is a situation in your life and it is hurting your heart? I want you to ask this question: “What did I have to do with this?” It’s a powerful question, and you will come up with answers.

No matter where we are in life, or no matter where we’re going from this day forward – we have caused something. It might be just a little bit, but we have had play in it. But you have made the decision that you are ready to own your life. You are going to do this.

Your kids aren’t doing it. Your boss isn’t doing it. Your coworkers aren’t doing it. Your significant other isn’t doing it.

You are doing it.

You are going to change your attitude. You are going to make better choices – and you are going to get laser-focused.

I will ask you again: Are You Ready?

I can’t do it for you. I am laying out the game plan. In 28 days, I promise you that I will epically change your life, but you have to be willing to do the work.

Write this down: Is your “why” bigger than your excuses?

Do you understand that?

If your “why” to get healthy more important than saying, “I’m tired?” Is your “why” to start your own business bigger than your excuse that “I have to go out with my friends tonight?” Is your “why” to be financially independent bigger than you going out with your friends?

If you want to be self-employed, you’ve got to sacrifice. Your “why” must be the inspiration for putting in those long hours. Your “why” has to be strong enough to justify your grind – and it must be greater than “I’m tired. I worked six days.”

If you want to accomplish monumental things – epically awesome things – in your life, then you are going to commit do doing this for 28 days, I am giving it to you free, my friends.

Write it down.
