What is EYL Training Camp? |

Extreme Youth Leadership Training Camp is a four-day energetic and interactive training camp for school and community groups. The camp is designed to create positive change in each individual’s personal growth, as well as develop their skill to implement a positive social change in their schools &/or community. Below are components: |
 |
- Action Planning Groups – youth/participants will join individuals from their school and/or community to work together to create a campus and/or community improvement project
- Group Activities – participants are provided opportunities for positive social interaction through activities such as a drum circle, relay games, and a carnival
- Skills Clinics – training designed to provide specific how-to skills and information on one topic. The number of clinics is arranged to provide teams the opportunity to bring home a broad base of knowledge including many of the skills necessary to be a successful team
- Family Group – provide participants the opportunity to meet other young people from varying backgrounds, share commonalties and differences, and relate personal experiences
- General Sessions – training camp participants receive motivation & instruction from inspiring speakers, also serves as a vehicle for creating a community atmosphere
- Team Time – designated time for school/ community teams to participate together in various team building activities and assist teams with planning their yearly activities

What do I have to do? |
- Gather a group of students and be a registered participant. There must be 1 adult sponsor for every 10 students. These sponsors must remain at the conference the entire time
- Care about kids. Adults Sponsors are active in the camp as well as involved in the implementation of the plans made during camp
- Be 21 years old or older
- Be responsible for your youth group and their behavior
- Attend ALL conference activities including Family Group meetings and Team Time meetings
- Work with students and EYL Staff to assist with the implementation of the Action Plan
- Have fun!!!

A message from the EYL Camp Director |
 Have you been searching for the right opportunity to impact the lives of your students?
If so, then look no further. Extreme Youth Leadership offers young people the opportunity to take the next step in leadership. EYL empowers young people to step outside their comfort zone and reach to fulfill their potential as a leader.
Each summer EYL provides an opportunity for youth to participate in our youth leadership training camps. EYL leadership camps combine youth networking, activities, skills clinics, keynote speakers, and FUN into the best way to teach your group how to improve as individual leaders. At the same time your students will learn to be selfless by learning to examine the environment that surrounds them and look for opportunities for improvement. Each student will leave EYL with a campus or community improvement project to implement when they return home.
Although I now serve as the Director of EYL, I am actually a product of this same youth leadership training system. There are countless alumni and volunteers who’s lives were forever changed because of their experience with EYL. Give us the opportunity to serve you and your students and you will return year after year to enjoy all that Extreme Youth Leadership has to offer! |
